For Enterprise Presentation

I went on Direct line website, and they advised several different insurances to take out for our specific needs in the business.

Simply Business: getting an insurance quote.. just went through the steps.. but couldn't get any further.. obviously, as it ain't real!

Below: How to get copyright protection.
What Bridget was saying in the lecture- posting work to yourself, so there is a stamped date on the work.. this will show when it was done.. also free.. well, ish.

You can also register online or by post. I found that it is cheaper online:
Current charges=
- £39.00 for 5 years
- £64.00 for 10 years

Places to get insurance quotes:

Professional Indemnity:

Sites I have looked at to get a better understanding on Professional Indemnity.

Notes on insurance:

Intellectual Property: Expression of an idea.
Professional Indemnity Insurance: Covers the cost if you give faulty advice or are negligent in your work and as a result you damage a clients business financially. The client may sue your business and the insurance would cover any compensation payments and legal expenses.
Business Contents Insurance: Pay for loss of, or damage to any business possessions whilst they are located within the business premises.
Public Liability Insurance: Provides cover against claims made by members of the public who have suffered injury or damage to property in connection with the business.
Employers Liability Insurance: Provides cover against claims by the employees who have suffered an injury or illness in the course of their employment.

We will need an accountant that will come in and sort out the money stuff..
Business link has given information to help you find the right accountant for the business. Gives you things to think about when looking for an accountant.

VAT- Standard 20% VAT on sales. (VAT= Value Added Tax)
